Abstract:
How do you bring joy to customers? How do you bridge the gap between end user needs and business needs? Menlo Innovation’s High-Tech Anthropologists take personas, a central principle of Agile, to the next level by guiding clients through a prioritization exercise called persona mapping. Prioritized personas create a common framework for discussions about all aspects of the project from strategy, to design, to implementation. In this session, we will discuss how persona mapping can empower stakeholders, clarify the scope of a project, and reduce painful ambiguity. Participants will experience first-hand how defining a project’s “who and why can drive the how and what”, resulting in a product clients and customers love.

Learning Outcomes:
  • How to write personas and gain experience writing your own personas
  • How to use personas to prioritize project scope with stakeholders
  • Hands on experience with mapping personas
  • Gain a tool to use to communicate across your entire team: designers, stakeholders, developers, etc.
